Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm currently located in Stokes Valley, Wellington but I travel all over Wellington, the Kapiti Coast and the Wairarapa region for weddings and portrait sessions.

What are your prices?

My portrait sessions start at $640 to $1200 for extended or larger group sessions and my wedding packages start at $3600-$5400 inc gst. I have different packages and options to choose from which I can send to you in my full pricing guide, please go to my contact page to request more information. Full payments are due before a booking goes ahead.

What is an exclusive license?

My prices are based on having my client’s permission to have the option of using some of their photos for my marketing purposes. Some sessions I will share on social media and my blog as a way of showing potential clients updated examples of my work and locations. If you would like to keep your images private, some clients will purchase my additional licensing fee which is $100 for portrait sessions and $500 for weddings. Having this additional fee is how I keep my prices competitive and my portfolio updated.

Do you have a studio and do you provide maternity wear outfits?

No, all of my photoshoots are on location or at venues, and clients are required to wear their own clothing as at this time.

Do you offer wedding videography and live-streaming?

Yes! My husband Karl offers videography which means that couples can book us as a photo and video duo for their wedding. You can see his portfolio here.

How long have you been a photographer for?

I started my photography degree in 2011 when I was only 17 years old but had previously taken a photography class in high school. It’s fair to say that photography has been a huge part of my life. I work with around 80 clients per year.

What is the process for booking you?

Once we have talked about what it is that you’re looking for and we have established that I’m a good fit then we can make it official! I have a deposit ($200 for portrait sessions/$500 for weddings) and a contract that I’ll send to you with all of my Ts&Cs.

How many images do you provide?

It varies on the type of session, a wedding can start at 200-800 images depending on the package and a portrait session is usually 40-60 images for a 1-hour session. You’ll receive the files in an online gallery and you’ll be able to use them to D.I.Y. print or I can arrange this for you.

How long does it take to receive my images?

In our contract, I say 3-4 weeks for a wedding but often it is much quicker and 1-2 weeks for a family/portrait session. I don’t want any client to ever feel like the wait is too long for receiving their photos so I always do my best to deliver them in the shortest amount of time possible.

Can we meet before We make a decision about our wedding photographer?

Absolutely! I love hearing about ideas and getting to know couples. Often Zoom calls are the easiest to organise with our schedules, get in touch to arrange a meeting!

Do you use a second photographer at weddings?

For some of my wedding photography, yes! Included in two of my packages I will have a second photographer with me for Wellington, Wairarapa and Kapiti weddings. It’s a big day for everyone and I want to make sure we make the most of the opportunities for photos. There is no extra cost for this. Weddings in the Upper North Island and South Island don’t include a second shooter, but this may be available for an additional cost.
