Home Sweet Home

Tom and I recently celebrated three years together as a couple! Time fly's when you're working hard and having fun together! I often say "time is going so quickly" and Tom's response is "but think of the places we have been to and how much we have achieved".

To mark the occasion we put our gumboots on and went back my parents farm in Taranaki, the place I call home. It felt good not splashing out on an expensive meal and flash presents. At the end of the day it was just about being together.

It was also really good seeing my family. I don't get to go home as much as I would like to. We were only there for two days so we tried to make the most of it. Take a look at what we got up to...

Just call me a 'professional sheep photographer'. Dad's farm is dairy and beef but we always did pet lambs as children. These two we seem to be stuck with, even in their adult years they are too friendly to send away.. despite Dad's wishes.

I managed to convince/bribe my little brother into taking a photo with me and my sister. Take me back to being 7 years old when it was so hilarious to pull rabbit ears behind someones head. This is the best photo we got.

I look forward to having more adventures with Tom. You can read all about our second year anniversary trip to Golden Bay here.
